White Island of Glare

Nirākāra – Acyuta

mahābrahmaṃ nirvikaḻpaṃ
pūrṇānanda-mayaṃ hari: ।
sarvaghaṭe ya: acyuta:
tasya pade praṇāmyaham ॥

The greatest reality, unvaried,
Complete in essence of bliss, is Hari.
The unchanging that in all body stays,
Onto His feet I bow with reverence.

Aṇākāra – Cyuta

īśvara: parama: kṛṣṇa:
saccidānanda vigraha: ।
anādir-ādir-govinda:
sarva kāraṇa-kāraṇam ॥

The Lord Supreme known by the name Kṛṣṇa,
Is the idol of truth, consciousness, bliss,
That eternal primeval Govinda,
Is but the one true cause of all causes.

Ananta Ākāra – Yogeśvara

akhaṇḍa maṇḍaḻākāraṃ
anantakoṭi dhāraṇaṃ ।
brahmā viṣṇu maheśvaraṃ
praṇamāmi yogeśvaraṃ ॥
vaṃde bodhamayaṃ nityaṃ
guruṃ keśava rūpiṇaṃ ।
gupta nīḻāñcaḻe sthitam
puruṣottamam namāmi ॥

The unfragmented creation as a whole,
Infinite crores of which are held in the One,
Are but Brahmā, Viṣṇu and Maheśvara,
In revere I bow to that Yogeśvara.
Praise be to the eternally enlightened,
That Guru, whose form is that of Keśava,
Hidden in the Blue Region who is present,
To that Puruṣottama, I hereby bow.

karpuragauraṃ gadācakradhāraṃ
ananta rūpaṃ parātpara śivaṃ ।
hṛdevasantaṃ jagannātha svāmī
baḻabhadra subhadrā sudarśanaṃ namāmi ॥

White in colour, holding the mace and discus,
In a boundless form as transcendental, pure,
Who in heart resides – to that Jagannātha,
And Baḻabhadra, Subhadrā, Sudarśana I bow.

Dāru Ākāra – Caturddhā Dāru Mūrtī

nīḻādrau śaṃkha-madhye
śatadaḻa-kamaḻe
ratna-siṃhāsana-sthaṃ
sarvāḻaṃkāra-yuktaṃ
navaghana ruciraṃ
saṃyutaṃ cāgrajena ।
bhadrāyā vāmabhāge
ratha-caraṇa-yutaṃ
brahma-rudrendra-vaṃdyaṃ
vedānāṃ sāramīśaṃ
sujana-parivṛtaṃ
brahma-dāruṃ smarāmi ॥

In the blue mountain that’s conch shaped,
On the thousand petaled lotus’
Bejewelled lion throne one who sits,
With all the ornaments adorned,
Just like a new cloud’s brilliance,
He sits with His elder brother.
And one who sits on Bhardā’s left,
With the chariot at the feet,
Who Brahmā, Rudra, Indra pray,
The Vedas of who is essence,
And all the goodmen who protects,
Of that Brahma equivalent Wood, I think.

jagadānanda-kandāya
praṇatārta-harāya ca ।
nīlācala-nivāsāya
jagannāthāya te nama: ॥

Of world’s bliss who is the origin,
Obeisance to that stealer of grief
One who in the blue region resides,
To that Lord Jagannāthā, I bow.

nīḻācaḻa-nivāsāya
nityāya paramātmane ।
baḻabhadra-subhadrābhyāṁ
jagannāthāya te nama: ॥

One who in the blue region resides,
Eternally as the supreme soul,
With Baḻabhadra and Subhadrā,
To that Lord Jagannāthā, I bow.

Shri Viranchi Keshava

Śūnyākāra – Śrī Viranci Keśava

kāḻā-bhañjana puñja sundara mukhaṃ
padmābhiḻāṣā padam ।
śakrādyāmara vṛnda vandita-padam
śaṅkhāri bāhu dvayam ॥
ānandāmṛta vāridhiṃ prabhu-jātaṃ
mokṣeka hetuṃ vibhuṃ ।
saṃsārārṇava tārāṇaṃ trijagatāṃ
nāthaṃ bhaje keśavaṃ ॥

Unaffected by time, who has a graceful face,
Goddess Lakṣmī desires whose very feet,
Sakra and other demi-gods pray His feet,
Conch and discus who in two hands holds.
Blissful elixir ocean from that Lord emanates,
For conditioning salvation who pervades,
And from mundane sea rows from three worlds
Who is that Lord, I sing glories of that Keśava.
