Antare Tumi: O’ Indwelling Spirit
Prayer in recognition of the Indwelling Spirit – the Holy Spirit that is in all of us, and plays in mysterious and amazing ways.
(Below is the prayer as collected from Najarula Gīti by poet Kājī Najarula Isalāma, composed in mid 1900s in Bāṃlā (Bengali); translated into English)

English Translation:
Inside, you always exist,
O’ great indwelling spirit,
Outside, in vain, but I search
And then, never find merit.
In every breath, as my soul,
You are with me, inside me.
I build temples, make idols,
But just then, you laugh I see.
Moving like the breeze, o’ light
You have the whole wide world filled –
With flower’s smell, a fragrance,
Having all lives to lives twilled.
You’re multiform, you’re formless,
Your play game is with no end,
Your this game of hide and seek –
Playing thus, my life I spend.
