From the Void to the Blue Zone
The Supreme Lord here reveals how He Himself – the One and Only Brahma (Absolute Truth) who is in the Śūnya (Void), for the purpose of Līḻā (Divine Gameplay) has manifested as Jagannātha (Overlord of the Worlds) in Nīḻāñcaḻa – the Blue Zone referring to the City of Purī in present day Odiśa (India).
(Below is the revelation as extracted from Māḻikā, given by Śrī Guru Lord Jagannātha in Oḍiā; translated into English for the benefit of Mankind)
Original Transliteration
re sutā āśiṣa
dei ethi jāṇa
kahibā kichi ṭi rahi ।
śūnya brahma ru
āsi upagata
hoi achi dekha muhim̐ ॥1॥
śūnya brahma āmbhe
śūnya vara jāṇa
śūnya re hisāba sāra ।
śūnya re kheḻā ṭi
karu āmbhe sutā
śūnya boli tuhi dhara ॥2॥
śūnya re āmbhara
sthiti achi rahi
śūnya śūnya dekha kahi ।
mahāśūnye āmbhe
sthita boli jāṇa
śiva svarūpa ṭi thāi ॥3॥
āmbhe ṭi jyoti
brahma boli sāra
re sutā kahe ṭi jāṇa ।
jyoti brahma madhye
āmbhe paraveśa
kari achu boli maṇa ॥4॥
mahāsaṅkarṣaṇa
rūpa ṭi āmbhara
hoi achi vikaśita ।
seṭhāra āmbhe ṭi
rahi achu sutā
jāṇibu ye ehā etha ॥5॥
āmbhe sṛṣṭikarttā
boli tuhi jāṇa
akhaṇḍa maṇḍaḻa svāmī ।
rahi achu āmbhe
nīḻāñcaḻe sutā
jagannātha nāma bhaṇi ॥6॥
sehi jagannātha
rūpe vidymāna
hoi achu āmbhe jāṇa ।
āmbhe ṭi gupta
nīḻāñcaḻe sthita
nīḻa mādhava ṭi puṇa ॥7॥
hoiachu dekha
re sutā kahe ṭi
āmbha līḻā kheḻā sāra ।
āmbheṭi gupate
kheḻuchu re sutā
batāi delu ṭi gīra ॥8॥
Śaraṇaṃ
English Translation
O’ daughter my blessing
Onto you bestowing
I shall speak some verses to you,
Coming from Void Brahma
I’ve arrived with poise, know,
And stationed myself here, do view!
I am the Void Brahma,
The Lord of Void by law,
In Void is the calculation,
And, in the Void my play –
O’ daughter, I portray,
Let Void be your contemplation.
In the Void, my presence –
Remains as existence –
The Void and Void, see, as is said,
I, in the Great Void, see –
Have made my station to be,
And in the Shiva form have laid.
I am the Divine Light –
Brahma that’s shining bright,
O’ daughter, I reveal my stand,
And in that Brahma Light
I have entered with might,
To make presence, thus understand.
The Great Saṅkarṣaṇa –
As is my own form, know,
Has but everywhere expanded,
In there with my essence,
Daughter, I’ve made presence,
You will of this here understand.
I am the creator
Know this is but my lore –
Of Whole Creation’s Lord in fame,
And I have myself shown
O’ daughter in Blue Zone
Taking the Jagannātha name.
As that Jagannātha –
Form, I am present, know,
In this way I have myself lain,
And I, in the Secret –
Blue Zone have myself sate,
As Nīḻa Mādhava again!
See, thus has happened here,
My tale, o’ daughter, hear,
This is but my divine gameplay,
And this way in secret –
O’ daughter have play set,
I, here, disclose to you and say.
